Hello,
Since this is on my website for everyone to see, please
excuse the fact that it is not addressed to anyone in specific and that it is
very general in content.
I have a
college degree in Business Administration and International Business and I have
a long career in logistics specifically warehousing, purchasing and mail distribution. Being in the military gave me an advantage
not many have. It taught me how to work
in a rapid moving environment having to deal with deployments and quick service
to the air squadrons and it instilled in me a sense of chain of command. This advantage is very useful in emergency
situations and to deal with difficult environments and people. My purchasing experience although limited to
health equipment, can be transferred to any kind of equipment. In dealing with purchasing, research for
quality and pricing is my best skill. In
addition, working at the Postal Service also exposed me to a fast moving
environment that allowed me to learn about distribution networks and
dispatching. With my diverse career in
very different sectors, I have developed good customer service skills and have
no problem working in multi-cultural environments. Although I have been removed from the working
world for a few years, I am positive I will adapt quickly and without any
problems. I am also confident that with my native bilingual skills, my
attention to detail and work ethic I will make a good addition to your company. As they say, work smart not hard.
I realize
that my German is limited at the moment but with intensive courses I am certain
that I will only need a few months to be at a desirable level.
Can I schedule an interview in the next few days to talk
about the position and my qualifications for it? I am flexible and willing to travel for the
interview in order to accommodate your schedule.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Beatriz de Zulueta
